A 15 year old Speyside single malt from The GlenAllachie, selected by Master Distiller and Master Blender Billy Walker for its sherry influence. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill filtered and with no colouring added.
The whisky is matured mainly in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks, including puncheons and hogsheads. The first adds dried fruit and sweetness, the second nuts, spice and structure.
The nose has dark cherries, golden syrup and sweet spice, with toffee, glazed figs and hazelnuts. The palate brings heather honey, orange peel, cocoa and ginger, and the finish is long and warm.
