The GlenDronach 15 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured (70cl, 46%)

The GlenDronach 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for 15 years in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. The Pedro Ximénez casks contribute sweetness and dark fruit, while the Oloroso casks add spicier, nuttier and drier notes. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, ranging from deep amber to a mahogany core. The distillery was founded in 1826 near Huntly, in the Valley of Forgue. The nose brings blackberries, juicy cherries and bitter orange, with walnut for depth.
