The GlenDronach Allardice 18 Years Old is a Highland single malt, bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is named after James Allardice, who founded the distillery in 1826.
The whisky matured entirely in selected Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is rich with dried figs, raisins, walnuts, dark chocolate and warm spices. The palate is full and elegant, with dark fruit, coffee, caramelised sugar and spicy oak. The long finish brings chocolate, nuts and a deep sherry character.
