GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 10 is a Highland single malt from The GlenDronach, bottled at 58.6% in a 70cl bottle. It is a yearly limited release, and this is the tenth batch.
The whisky matured in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. It is non-chill filtered and natural colour.
The nose is typical of sherry casks, with raisins, chocolate, nuts, plums, oak and vanilla. The palate opens with a peppery lift from the strength, then turns sweet and creamy with chocolate, nuts, coffee and spice. The finish is medium in length, warm and dry.
