Batch 12 of The GlenDronach Cask Strength, an annual limited release of Highland single malt, bottled at 58.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured in Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose is typical of sherry, with dried fruit, raisins, vanilla and spice, plus sandalwood and liquorice. The palate is creamy and soft, with vanilla, grapes, almond, orange zest, ginger and other fruit. The finish is medium in length, with chocolate and cherries.
