The GlenDronach The Parisian Room – Sherry & Cognac Cask Matured – House Editions (70cl, 49%)

GlenDronach The Parisian Room is a Highland single malt from the distillery's House Editions, a series that pays tribute to the culture of famous cities, in this case Paris. It is bottled at 49% in a 70cl bottle and has natural colour. The whisky was matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, then finished in French Cognac casks. The sherry casks bring dark fruit, nut and chocolate notes, while the Cognac casks add finer, spicier tones. In the glass it ranges from antique gold to a deep copper.
