This is a lightly peated Highland single malt from The GlenDronach, bringing back the traditional peated style of the distillery. It matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks and port casks, and is bottled at 48%, non-chill filtered with no added colouring.
The nose has dried fruit, dark berries, caramelised orange and warm spices, with soft smoke woven through. On the palate come plums, chocolate, cinnamon, oak and earthy peat smoke. The finish is warming and spicy.
