The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Jamaica Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery's destination-inspired series, in a 75cl bottle. It is aged for 12 years and selectively finished in casks that previously held Jamaican rum.
The finish adds tropical notes, coconut and a warm sugarcane sweetness to the orchard fruit character of Speyside.
The nose is tropical, with fresh mango, candied pineapple, lemon and lime zest, coconut and brown sugar. The palate is sweet and fruit-forward, with juicy pineapple, vanilla, crème brûlée, cocoa and gentle oak spice. The finish is smooth and lingering, with tropical fruit sweetness and a little cocoa.
