This is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt from The Glenlivet, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in French Limousin oak casks, a wood also used for Cognac, and the Cognac influence is evident in the whisky.
The nose is rich and oaked. On the palate there is fudge and Madeira, with apple crumble and Calvados. The finish is long and dry, with a peppery note.
