This is a 15 year old single malt from The Glenlivet, the French Oak Reserve expression, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in French Limousin oak and has a deep, intense gold colour.
The flavour is sweet fruit with delicate spice, and the palate is fruit and nut. The finish is lingering, with sweet almond and spice, and a creamy, rich, buttery feel. Full-flavoured venison dishes are suggested as a pairing.
