The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40%. It has been finished in Caribbean rum barrels, and the colour is a golden amber with a soft copper hue.
The nose is sweet, with cane sugar, tropical fruit and malt alongside coconut, banoffee pie and a touch of rum, with honey, toffee and light oak char behind. The palate is light-bodied and smooth, with fudge, honey and cereal, then bitter orange, cinnamon and oak spice, lifted by mango, pineapple and caramelised sugar. The finish is relatively short, with cinnamon, oak char and a lingering sweet rum note.
