The Glenlivet – Master Distiller's Small Batch (1L, 40%)

The Glenlivet Master Distiller's Small Batch is a single malt in a 1 litre bottle at 40% ABV. The malt is only lightly peated, and the water used has a touch of hardness. Most of the casks held sherry at some point, and the share of first-fill casks is fairly small. The Glenlivet takes its name from the small valley of the Livet, which runs into the Spey. Only bottlings from the distillery itself may carry the The before the name. They also bear the small line Distilled by George & J. G. Smith, a reference to the founders.
