The Glenlivet Triple Cask White Oak Reserve is a Speyside single malt Scotch in a one-litre bottle at 40% ABV. A high proportion of the whisky comes from first-fill American white oak casks.
It is an easy-going dram, equally at home neat or in a Highball.
The nose is vanilla caramel with cinnamon spice and a touch of candied citrus zest. The palate is silky and sweet, balanced by gentle tannins, with dried apricot and peppery spice. The finish is lingering vanilla with warming ginger.
