The Glenrothes 10 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenrothes distillery, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle in its older presentation.
The nose is sweet and creamy, with vanilla, shortbread and a buttery richness, alongside fresh green apple and pear and a very light lemon peel note.
The texture is silky and the body light. A soft, sweet malt meets lemon peel, and the sherry influence stays restrained so the fruit of the spirit comes through. The finish is medium to short and refreshing, bringing back sweet fruit with a gentle, spicy touch of wood.
