This is a 12 year old single malt from the Glenrothes distillery in Speyside, released as part of the Soleo Collection and sold in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
It was matured only in sherry-seasoned oak casks and bottled at natural colour. The character is built around vanilla, melon and cinnamon.
On the nose it is light and fragrant, with banana and vanilla. The palate brings banana, lemon and melon with a hint of cinnamon, and the finish is long and sweet, with galia melon and light spice.
