The Glenrothes 13 Year Old Halloween Edition 2019 is a Speyside single malt from a Halloween series that ran for just two editions, in 2018 and 2019. It was limited to 5,000 bottles and bottled at 46.6% ABV in natural colour.
The whisky matured for 13 years in sherry-seasoned and bourbon-seasoned casks, then spent a final period in casks previously used for peated whisky. It comes in a white opaque bottle with an orange label, inside a black zippered case.
Tasting notes describe dried fruit, creamy vanilla, gentle oak spice and malt sweetness with delicate smoke, leading to a smoky finish.
