The Glenrothes 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for fifteen years exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak casks. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour.
The nose shows ripe orange, baked apple and dried apricot with vanilla, honey and light floral notes, plus a little cinnamon and toasted almond. On the palate there are orchard fruits, orange marmalade and honeyed malt, with butterscotch, baking spices, sultanas and toasted hazelnuts. The finish is long, with citrus peel, dried fruit, soft cinnamon and vanilla.
