The Glenrothes 1992 Second Edition (70cl, 44.3%)

The Glenrothes 1992 Second Edition is a single malt bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd at 44.3% in a 70cl bottle. The nose is led by citrus, with Seville orange peel, pineapple and a touch of lychee, over vanilla pod, wild honey and butterscotch, with baking spice such as cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate is medium to full-bodied, oily and creamy, fruity and sweet at first with prunes and coconut cream, then lemon and orange zest against a dark chocolate bitterness, marzipan, Brazil nuts and American oak. The finish is long and warm, with toasted wood, clove, coconut and blood orange.
