A single malt from The Glenrothes, distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2014, in a 70cl bottle at 43% abv.
The nose is rich and creamy, with butterscotch, milk chocolate and toffee, then soft floral notes, lemon peel and candied orange, and ripe apple and pear touched with cinnamon. The palate is oily, smooth and full-bodied, with vanilla cream and fruit in syrup giving way to chocolate, almonds and nuts, and a firm note of white pepper and nutmeg.
The finish is medium to long and slightly dry from the oak, leaving sugared citrus peel, toasted nuts and more sweet toffee.
