The Glenrothes Three Decades is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers runny honey and French vanilla cream, with deep, ripe dark fruit, candied orange peel and citrus zest, then polished wood and a subtle, dry herbal background. The palate is rich, oily and balanced: vanilla cream with wine gums, orange caramel and warm honey, followed by clove, fresh ginger and nutmeg, and light liquorice with fine tannins.
The finish is medium to long, clean and silky, with fruit and orange caramel lingering before a closing touch of nutmeg.
