The Glenrothes – Vintage 1988 (70cl, 44.1%)

This is The Glenrothes Vintage 1988, the second edition of the distillery's 1988 vintage, bottled at 44.1% in a 70cl bottle. When the first 1988 edition was put together in 2009, John Ramsay, then Malt Master, chose casks that were at their best. He felt that part of the whisky needed more time in cask, so it was left to mature further and bottled in 2017 as the Single Vintage 1988, Second Edition.
