The Glenrothes Vintage Reserve is a single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fragrant and soft, with fresh grass, malted barley and a pronounced sweetness of honey and honeycomb, with hints of sherry, ripe red fruit, oak, nuts and citrus peel. The palate is oily, silky and creamy, with vanilla, caramel, toffee and lemon or orange peel, then nuts, grapes and lively spice that brings a moderate tingle to the tongue. The finish is medium to long and bittersweet, with ginger, a citrus echo, and lingering sherry, vanilla and oak.
