This is a Speyside single malt from The Glenrothes, matured fully in first-fill sherry-seasoned casks. It is bottled at 48.8%, the strength preferred by the Master Whisky Maker, and it has natural colour with nothing added. The nose is creamy vanilla, warm spices and sherry. On the palate it is rich and sweet with sherry, soft spices and dried fruit, and it has a firm body. The finish is long, warming and slightly spicy.
