The Glenturret 7 Year Old Peat Smoked is a young, peated single malt Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. It comes from Glenturret in Crieff, Perthshire, which is described as Scotland's oldest working distillery.
Glenturret has long been known for unpeated whisky. Its peated range is a newer addition, introduced under the ownership of the Lalique Group, which has run the distillery since 2019.
At seven years old, with American oak maturation, the peat smoke is direct and assertive, with a raw, immediate character.
