The Gospel Projects Fortified Cask Rye is a rye whiskey from The Gospel distillery in Melbourne, Victoria, in a 70cl bottle at 52% abv. It is a fortified cask expression. The Gospel distils 100% Australian unmalted rye, grown by a single farmer in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia, where the harsh climate produces small, dense grains. The distillery has a six-metre continuous column still built in-house and a bespoke copper pot still. Its rye is known for spicy flavours of vanilla, cinnamon and dried fruit, with pepper, grass and grain developing.
