The Macallan 15 Years Double Cask is a Scotch single malt aged for 15 years. It is bottled at 43% ABV and comes in a 70cl bottle.
It is described as golden caramel in colour. The nose brings together nuts, toffee and vanilla with soft oak and baked apple, balanced by honey and chocolate.
On the palate there are sweet raisins and sultanas built up with vanilla, wood spices and citrus. The finish is warm and gingery, turning to caramel and citrus, with a creamy mouthfeel that lingers.
