The Macallan 15 Years Old Double Cask is a Speyside single malt matured for 15 years in both American and European sherry casks. The American oak brings vanilla and softness, while the European oak adds structure and classic sherry tones.
The nose opens with dried fruit, caramel, orange peel, vanilla and honey. The palate is full and silky, with raisins, toasted nuts, spices, oak and a touch of dark chocolate.
