The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old is an age-statement single malt, with a new edition released each year. This is the 2026 release.
It is matured mainly in European oak casks seasoned with sherry in Jerez, Spain, which gives dried fruits, spices and mature oak.
The nose offers treacle tart, ginger, soaked raisins and sultanas with orange and cinnamon. On the palate, dark chocolate-coated ginger meets dates and dried apricots, with a hint of oak and vanilla sweetness. The long finish carries dried fruits, ginger and oak.
