The Macallan 18 Years Old Double Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from Macallan, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is an amber, honey-coloured whisky.
The nose brings dried fruit, ginger and caramel, with strong orange and hints of clove and nutmeg. On the palate, intense raisins and sultanas come with caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by woody spices and tart citrus.
The finish is warm, spiced oak with ginger, turning to sweet orange.
