A Night on Earth in Scotland is a limited bottling from The Macallan, made to celebrate New Year in Scotland. It was created in collaboration with the Japanese-French illustrator Erica Dorn and is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in sherry casks of American and European oak, together with ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is intense, with malt, biscuits, honey, apple and almond. The palate opens softly, with cinnamon, vanilla and malt and a slight bitterness. The finish is gentle, with touches of fruit, oak and artisan biscuits.
