The Chairman's Release is the flagship of the Macallan 1700 Series. It was bottled in 2001 at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and 5000 bottles were made.
The bottle is made of flint glass, a heavy modern style flask with a slender silhouette, gently curving shoulders and a thick base.
