The Macallan Classic Cut is a limited edition single malt, the 2023 release.
In the glass it is a rich mahogany. The nose opens with honey caramel and dried fruit, then moves to cinnamon and cloves, with a hint of oak and light smoke.
On the palate, caramel and vanilla from the casks meet prunes and apricots, with warming spice. The finish is long, with gentle smoke balancing the sweet and spicy notes.
