The Macallan Classic Travel Range 1930s Propeller Plane is a single malt bottled at 42.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was first released for global travel retail as a Whisky Maker's Edition. Distillery manager Bob Dalgarno put it together from sherry and bourbon casks and chose 42.8% as his preferred drinking strength. The label carries X-ray art by the British photographer Nick Veasey, one of four designs in the range celebrating the art of travel. The others show a 1930s roadster, a 1920s locomotive and a 1930s ocean liner. It is described as fruity, sweet and spicy.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
