This is an 18 year old Macallan single malt released for the 55th anniversary of Diamonds Are Forever, in a 70cl bottle at 45.5%.
The release draws on James Bond's fondness for sherry, using a selection of sherry and red wine seasoned oak casks. Bespoke hybrid sherry seasoned oak casks add further complexity, giving a whisky Macallan describes as having glittering depth and character.
