The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. It is gold in colour and described as aromatic and intense, with orange, vanilla, sandalwood, macadamia and black cherry.
The nose offers creamy caramel with a touch of toffee apple, candied orange, vanilla cream and freshly cut oak. On the palate there are honey, wood spices and citrus, balanced by raisin and caramel. The finish is long, with warm, sweet and dry oak.
