The Macallan – Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut (70cl, 46.3%)

The Macallan Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is the sixth and final release in the Harmony series, a limited edition made with the Roca brothers, the chefs of El Celler de Can Roca. The whisky was matured in seasoned American oak and ex-bourbon casks, and the packaging is made partly from recycled coconut shells. Fresh coconut is the idea behind it, and the colour, aroma and flavour all recall coconut and coconut milk. The nose brings fresh coconut, mango, vanilla, marzipan, honey, raisins, nutmeg and citrus zest. The palate is creamy, with lime, coconut milk, tropical fruit, vanilla, honey, oak and cinnamon, followed by a fairly long finish.
