The Macallan Harmony Collection Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea JING

This is a Macallan single malt from the Harmony Collection, an annual series. Inspired by Phoenix Honey Orchid Tea, it is the fifth release and was created in collaboration with the tea company JING. It was matured mainly in sherry-seasoned American oak, alongside European sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks. The packaging is made from recycled tea leaves. The nose offers ripe peach and apricot, floral honey, orange blossom and a light oolong note. On the palate come stone fruit, gentle spice, sherry-led richness and creamy vanilla. The finish is silky and medium-long, with tea tannins, warm oak and honey.
