The Macallan Jing is the fifth release in the Harmony Collection, a 43.9% ABV single malt inspired by JING's Phoenix Honey Orchid tea. Its box is made from repurposed waste tea leaves.
It is matured mainly in sherry-seasoned American oak, with sherry-seasoned European oak and ex-bourbon American oak adding further influence.
The nose offers peach, apricot, floral honey, tropical fruit, toffee and sweet oak. On the palate come peaches in rich syrup, warm citrus, toffee and light floral tones, ending in a delicate leafy astringency. The finish is fruity, sweet and complex.
