The Macallan Quest was created for the travel retail market and is bottled at 40% ABV.
It is matured in four types of cask: bourbon barrels, European oak casks seasoned with sherry, American oak casks seasoned with sherry, and hogsheads. The range reflects The Macallan's search for oak casks, a journey of more than 20,000 miles.
The nose offers soft lemon, milk chocolate and butterscotch. The palate is warm, with oak, cinnamon and caramel, and the finish brings raisins and vanilla pod.
