The nose carries a steady thread of peat smoke through dried fruit, nutmeg, ginger and well-polished oak, with dates, figs and raisins, strong yet sweet. On the palate a dry smoky note gives way to softer oak. The finish is long and fruity, with a touch of smoked wood.
