A single cask Macduff, distilled in 1990 and matured for 32 years in a refill cask. It comes from The Maltman series by independent bottler Meadowside Blending, where Donald Hart and Andrew Hart select each cask personally.
It is bottled at natural colour without chill filtration, with an outturn of 178 bottles.
The nose brings fruit candy, vanilla and buttery toffee. The palate is smooth and creamy, with pineapple, fresh bread, butterscotch and icing sugar sweetness. The finish offers baked apple pie, custard and cinnamon.
