The Naked Malt is a blended malt Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV. It is a blend of single malts from around the world.
Blended malts usually mature in used bourbon casks, but this one spent six months in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. The bottler calls them naked casks because they had never held whisky before.
The sherry casks add a layer of rich, fruity flavours.
