The Red Comyn is a 12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle as part of the Claxton's Core Range. It is finished in ruby port casks, which give the whisky a red colour.
The name comes from John 'The Red' Comyn, whose castle stood on the Dalswinton Estate. Its remains can still be seen in the grounds of the manor house.
It is described as fresh and vibrant with summer fruit, including strawberries and cream, peach skin and barley sugar.
