The Shinobu Koshi-No is a blended Japanese whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43%. It is made from half malt and half grain whisky, and the whisky is three years old.
It was matured in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, then finished for two months in mizunara oak. The colour is natural, with nothing added.
The nose is buttery, with coconut candy, mint, grass and wood. The palate is smooth and a little oily, with a hint of Chinese incense, butter and vanilla, and the finish is sandalwood and vanilla.
