The Singleton of Dufftown 12 Years Old Luscious Nectar (70cl, 40%)

This is a 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from The Singleton of Dufftown, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is described as a smooth, mellow malt with sweet fruity notes and a lingering warmth. The colour is a rich amber with polished mahogany highlights, and the body is medium to full. On the nose there is polished wood and toasted nuts, followed by baked apples, soft brown sugar and a mossy note. The palate brings sweetness and crunchy nuts, then fruity richness with brown sugar and espresso coffee. The finish is medium to long, drying and crisp, with a sweetly nutty chew.
