This is a 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky from The Singleton of Glen Ord, bottled at 54.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was released as part of the Diageo Special Releases 2022.
It begins life like the regular 15 year old, then spends a further eight years in secondary maturation in wine casks, a different take on the usual expression.
It is described as soft and fruity, with extra layers of rich dark fruit and spice.
