The Story of Full Proof is a bourbon bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is blended from selected barrels of high rye bourbon, aged for a minimum of five and a half years.
The nose combines burnt caramel and soft vanilla with dried apricot, dark cherry and baking spices. On the palate, dark caramel sweetness leads into dried apricot, dark cherry and a little chocolate, with toasted oak and baking spices. The finish is long, with a rich mouthfeel and lingering toffee, dark chocolate, toasted oak and baking spices.
