This is a single-cask Highland single malt from Ardmore, distilled in 2005 and matured for 16 years in a hogshead. It was bottled in 2022 by The Whisky Agency at a cask strength of 51.3% ABV, in a release of 330 bottles. It is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The nose is mellow peat smoke with delicate florals, hay, vanilla and fresh citrus. The palate is smooth and lightly sweet, with aromatic peat, floral notes, oak spice, ginger and bitter lemon. The finish is long and gently smoky, with earthy roots, aromatic herbs, vanilla and liquorice.
