The Whistler Double Oaked is a small batch, triple distilled Irish whiskey from Boann Distillery in County Meath, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in both American and European oak, which gives a slightly sweet, spicy character.
The nose has vanilla, honey, light spices and baked apple. The palate is soft and creamy, with caramel, oak, grain sweetness and a hint of citrus. The finish is medium and slightly spicy.
