This is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Boann Distillery, bottled by The Heart Cut as release #23. It was distilled in 2021 and bottled in 2025, so it is 4 years old.
The whiskey was fully matured in a Moscatel de Setúbal cask and bottled at 61.7% ABV in a 50cl bottle.
On the nose it has raspberry jam, redcurrant jelly and orange blossom honey, with warm apple pie. The palate brings boozy sultanas, baked orchard fruit and cinnamon, and the finish is lingering berry sweetness with gentle baking spice.
